Marshall Dane is hotter than ever! Nominated for the second straight year, Marshall walked away Thursday night July 31st, the winner of the 2008 TIMA competition. "The people voted...and we're thrilled we won!" stated Marshall. In 2008 Marshall has set his sights and taken aim to earn his spot on the International Stage.

As one of Canada’s finest emerging performers Marshall is attracting attention all the way from Los Angeles to Australia, while continuing to play to sold out crowds across Eastern Canada. Along with his award for “Best Live Electric Band” Of The Year at the Toronto Independent Music Awards, Marshall continues to attract the attention of the Media.

Racing forward

After a dizzying 2007 that included a nomination for “Best Live Electric Band” at the 2007 Toronto Independent Music Awards and several opening performances for classic bands like Honeymoon Suite, Marshall Dane is racing forward through 2008.

In upcoming months he has a slew of live dates set up to showcase his latest new music and is on a writing frenzy that has him partnering with several great producers and writers in Toronto and Los Angeles. Getting back to writing has taken Marshall in new directions including experimenting in a Theatrical Jazz ensemble and a new foray into the Country scene. Also acting as an ambassador for Synchronicity Live, an online company showcasing live broadcasts of independent musicians, Marshall is busy promoting his solid and sexy stylings through alternative media channels.
